Text Animation

I attempted a swirly text tutorial on After Effects. The goal was to replicate the text style and movement of this video.

I started by downloading the font from Adobe Fonts, then making a text layer in After Effects. I then added a noise layer, with several effects that gave it the swirly appearance. Then, by adjusting the alpha levels of the text comp, the swirly text effect was born.

I then added a loop expression. Here is the result:
